And a huge thank you to Wade Ischenko for setting up his truck to be outfitted with a TV, sound system and the Blue Jays Game so we could take in both. 👉A big congratulations to Wade Ischenko for his election victory and his continued service as MLA for Kluane. And thank you to all of the candidates across the territory who put their names forward. 👉 We continue to experience some real heartache in our community with community members passing away and a home burning down earlier this week. It is heartwarming to see how we come together as a community to support one another. 👉 Thank you to the Rangers for hosting the Remembrance Day Ceremony 👋Champagne and Aishihik First Nations 👉Get ready for the Haines Junction Dakwäkäda Mountain Festival! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Da Kų Cultural Centre! This years theme is “Glaciers matter for water, food and livelihoods in mountains and beyond”. This is a free community event and everyone is welcome to join. Enjoy workshops, activities, kwandur (stories), films, presentations, lunch, dinner, and more!
