👉Weather: näkwäjäntl’ür k’e – it is dark outside
👉 Thank you to St Elias Lions Club, Drummond Family, HJ Fire Department volunteers and Village of HJ for a tremendous Hallowe’en bonfire, fireworks, hot dogs and hot chocolate. And a huge thank you to Wade Ischenko for setting up his truck to be outfitted with a TV, sound system and the Blue Jays Game so we could take in both. 
👉A big congratulations to Wade Ischenko for his election victory and his continued service as MLA for Kluane. And thank you to all of the candidates across the territory who put their names forward.
👉 We continue to experience some real heartache in our community with community members passing away and a home burning down earlier this week. It is heartwarming to see how we come together as a community to support one another.
👉 Thank you to the Rangers for hosting the Remembrance Day Ceremony

👉Get ready for the Haines Junction Dakwäkäda Mountain Festival!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Da Kų Cultural Centre!
This years theme is “Glaciers matter for water, food and livelihoods in mountains and beyond”.
This is a free community event and everyone is welcome to join. Enjoy workshops, activities, kwandur (stories), films, presentations, lunch, dinner, and more!

👉Champagne and Aishihik First Nations will be holding a Special General Assembly from Nov. 22-23 at the Da Ku Cultural Centre in Dakwakada.
This meeting is for the continuation of business and resolutions from the GA in July.

We're playing bingo at the Mun Ku on Fridays this month! Bring your package and join us on November 14, 21 and 28 at 7pm.


👉Drop in Sewing
The Healing House in Haines Junction will be holding drop in sewing later this month. Bring your unfinished projects and sew with your friends on November 17 and 24. Light snacks will be provided.

👉Who is Haines Junction?" The results are in and YOU'RE INVITED! At the start of the summer, we asked you to participate in a survey. 110 Junction-area residents participated and now it's time to share the results!
Join us on Thursday, November 13th at 7pm in the St. Elias Convention Centre to learn the results and participate in a community conversation about what what we've learned. Everyone is welcome.

👋Sunrise Coffee
Join us this Sunday November 16th for coffee shop vibes at the Convention Center Atrium. Everyone is welcome. Bring your friends, neighbours, kids, craft projects, books and board games!
We will be serving Midnight Sun coffee, tea, juice and breakfast sandwiches. We're looking for a couple people to bring some cookies, muffins or other baked goods. Send me a message if you'd like to help out.

👉 Fit with Nick is back! Tuesdays at 6pm in the Mezzanine!


👉 Sunday Yoga is back! Sundays from 6-7:15pm at the St Elias Convention Center (atrium). Suggested donation is $15. Blocks and straps provided, please bring a mat.
